Barcelona decides against permanent transfer for Marcus Rashford
Summary

Barcelona's board has opted not to activate their €30 million buy option for Marcus Rashford, who played on loan during the 2025/26 season. Despite contributing 14 goals and 14 assists in 49 matches, the club does not see sufficient value in Rashford to justify the fee. As the deadline approaches in five days, Rashford is set to return to Manchester United, although Barcelona is open to considering another loan arrangement.
