Barcelona goalkeeping talent Max Bonfill signs new contract and joins reserve team

Barcelona goalkeeper Max Bonfill has signed a new contract that extends his stay at the club until June 2027, with an option for an additional year. After concluding his youth career, the 19-year-old will step up to Barça Atletic, having been a significant figure in the Under-19 side. Bonfill, who has spent nearly a decade at La Masia, attracted interest from other clubs but chose to continue his development at Barcelona. His performance during the last season included 21 league appearances and standout moments such as saving three penalties in a shootout against Valencia. He is expected to challenge himself in the Segunda RFEF under coach Juliano Belletti.
