Barcelona looks to sign Stuttgart's Finn Jeltsch amid Real Madrid interest

Summary

Barcelona is aiming to secure a transfer for Finn Jeltsch, a 20-year-old centre-back from Stuttgart, as coach Hansi Flick identifies him as a key target during the forthcoming January transfer window. The club has struggled defensively following losses to PSG and Real Madrid, prompting the need for new depth. Barcelona scouts reportedly viewed Jeltsch during a Champions League match and received positive feedback about his performance. However, Stuttgart may demand greater than €50 million for Jeltsch, and Barcelona faces stiff competition from Real Madrid, who are also pursuing defensive reinforcements.
