Barcelona management instructs Hansi Flick to ignore Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho

Barcelona management advised manager Hansi Flick to remain silent regarding Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. Club officials provided this guidance following the announcement that Mourinho would return to the Real Madrid dugout this summer. The directive includes instructions for the coach to avoid addressing comments made by the Portuguese manager about Barcelona, specifically regarding the Negreira case or the history of the rivalry. Barcelona officials briefed Flick on past confrontations involving Mourinho during his previous tenure, including the incident with Tito Vilanova. Flick has complied with the club's instruction, maintaining a focus on upcoming opponents rather than responding to press inquiries about his counterpart. The manager is expected to continue this policy of restraint as the season progresses, though inquiries about the Clasico are likely to intensify later this year.
