Barcelona manager Hansi Flick speaks to Real Madrid target Rodri

Summary

Hansi Flick, manager of Barcelona, has personally contacted Rodri to discuss the club's project. This comes as Barcelona has reportedly overtaken Real Madrid in the race to secure the Manchester City midfielder. Real Madrid's negotiations seem to have stalled, leaving Rodri's decision pending. The potential acquisition is spurred by Frenkie de Jong's long-term injury, affecting Barcelona's midfield depth. Rodri's chemistry with current Barcelona players and his recent FIFA World Cup win further make the Catalan club an appealing option.
