Barcelona midfielder Rodri contacts Valencia squad over post-match comments

Barcelona midfielder Rodri has reached out to members of the Valencia squad to apologize for remarks made during a 5-0 victory. Cameras captured Rodri speaking to teammate Pau Cubarsi about the opposition's performance, unaware that his conversation was being broadcast. He described the Valencia players as weak and criticized their tactical display during the second half of the match. The comments circulated widely on social media shortly after the fixture concluded, drawing scrutiny toward the midfielder. According to reports from A Punt Radio, Rodri initiated the contact personally to address the situation and clarify the context of his private conversation. The apology follows the lopsided result that left the Valencia squad facing both a heavy defeat and public criticism from an opposing player.
