Barcelona open to Ronald Araujo transfer request this summer

Barcelona is prepared to allow Ronald Araujo to leave if he requests a transfer this summer. Despite currently holding a long-term contract until 2031, Araujo's place in the squad has become uncertain due to increased competition in the defense. The club values his leadership and experience, but the emergence of players like Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia has pushed him down the pecking order. Araujo is committed to fighting for his position but may reassess his future if he feels sidelined. He recently rejoined pre-season training and is expected to speak with manager Hansi Flick soon.
