Barcelona restructures scouting department amid talent identification push

Barcelona has introduced major changes to its recruitment strategy, launching a new phase aimed at strengthening talent identification in Spain and abroad. Under Joao Amaral's leadership, the scouting department focuses on emerging prospects and international talent, with recent signings such as Patricio Pacifico and Juwensley Onstein. Daniele Placido has been appointed Head of Emerging Talent, overseeing player recruitment aged 16 to 21. The club has also added new scouts, including Roger Porta Capdevila and Jordi Villazon, to enhance its operations.
