Barcelona seeks Nicolo Tresoldi as forward option after Lewandowski exit

Summary

Barcelona is exploring options for a new center-forward following Robert Lewandowski's departure earlier this summer. Reports indicate that Nicolo Tresoldi has emerged as a candidate for Hansi Flick’s team. Despite ongoing interest in Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid, Barcelona is considering Tresoldi, who had a successful 2025-26 season with Club Brugge, scoring 21 goals in the Belgian Pro League. Tresoldi's impressive performances, including goals against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, have made him a viable alternative as the transfer window progresses.
