Barcelona seeks to re-sign Mika Marmol before deal falls through

Mika Marmol, currently with Feyenoord Rotterdam, was the subject of interest from Barcelona before the January transfer window. Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez stated that Barcelona was willing to pay five million for the player but ultimately did not proceed with the transfer. Marmol had left Barcelona for Andorra in 2022 and later joined Las Palmas. After Las Palmas missed promotion, he opted for a move to Feyenoord this summer. The president indicated that a transfer might have been different had Las Palmas been promoted.
