Barcelona struggles with injuries ahead of Aston Villa match

Summary

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick addressed the status of injured players before their Champions League clash with Aston Villa on November 3. The team is grappling with a defensive injury crisis, as four players, including Andreas Christensen, Jules Koundé, Eric García, and Xavi Espart, are sidelined. Espart is expected to be out until early 2027, while the others may return after the international break. Barcelona secured a win against Deportivo Alavés earlier this week but now faces a more challenging opponent in Aston Villa.
