Barcelona targets Lautaro Martinez after Atletico Madrid rejects Alvarez

Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan following Atletico Madrid's refusal to sell Julian Alvarez. This interest is not new, as Barcelona has pursued Martinez in the past without success. With the Serie A season set to start this weekend, Inter's need to retain their captain complicates any potential transfer. Reports indicate that Martinez may be open to a move, but he has stated satisfaction at Inter. His contract with Inter runs until June 2029, and he recently led the club to a domestic double.
