Barcelona unlikely to re-sign Jan Virgili after Jesse Bisiwu deal

Summary

Barcelona's acquisition of Jesse Bisiwu appears to have diminished the chances of re-signing Jan Virgili from RCD Mallorca. Virgili, a former La Masia talent, was initially considered a good fit for the squad, especially given his affordable release clause. However, after securing Bisiwu, Barcelona's focus has shifted. Mallorca remains committed to Virgili, having offered him a new contract amid interest from other clubs. As transfer activity is expected to pick up, Virgili is maintaining his focus on pre-season preparations with Mallorca while exploring his future options.
