Barcelona visits Atletico Madrid seeking critical Champions League points

Summary

Barcelona faces Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano as they aim to reclaim the top spot in La Liga. They currently trail Real Madrid, who secured a 3-0 victory over Valencia earlier. Julian Alvarez, a key player for Atletico, has been particularly effective against Barcelona, registering four goals and two assists in nine encounters. His performance helped Atletico eliminate Barcelona from both the Copa del Rey and the Champions League last season. Barcelona will also need to cope without Rodri, affecting their midfield strength.
