Barcelona's friendly in Morocco faces uncertainty due to local crisis

Summary

Barcelona's pre-season friendly against IR Tangier in Morocco on August 15 may not occur due to local conditions. Recent migration issues have overwhelmed services in Ceuta, leading to a reevaluation of the feasibility of travel for the match. Club officials are assessing safety before making a decision. The team has already faced operational challenges, including a cancelled match against Preston North End because the opposition lacked sufficient players. Should the friendly be cancelled, Barcelona's pre-season would consist of only two full 90-minute matches, plus shorter outings against Udinese and Nottingham Forest.
