While Joshua’s existing contract mandates a venue within the United Kingdom, other parties involved in the negotiations are pushing for a United States site. Hearn suggested that Khan could coordinate an extension for late-night ring-walk times to accommodate US television audiences. Both fighters were active in July, with Fury defeating Mariusz Wach in Thailand and Joshua securing a victory over Kristian Prenga.
