Barry McClements finishes sixth in men's 100m butterfly final

Barry McClements finished sixth in the men's 100m butterfly S10 final at the Commonwealth Games on July 24, recording a time of 1:01.92. McClements previously won a bronze medal in the 100m S9 backstroke in 2022. In other events, the women's team of Danielle Hill, Emily Hughes, Ellie McCartney, and Victoria Catterson also placed sixth in the 4x100m freestyle relay final, clocking 3:41.39. Grace Davison and Lottie Cullen were seventh and eighth in the women's 200m backstroke final. Both Conor Ferguson and Paddy Johnston missed the 50m backstroke final after finishing eighth in their respective semi-finals.
