Barry-Murphy anticipates Cardiff signing before cup match against Norwich
Summary

Cardiff City manager Brian Barry-Murphy expects the team to finalize a player signing before their Carabao Cup second-round match against Norwich City on Tuesday, August 25. The club is particularly focused on acquiring a centre-back after facing injuries that left them without a recognized option in their recent 2-2 draw against Derby County. Barry-Murphy noted that defending players Perry Ng and Joel Bagan had to fill in at centre-back due to injuries to Gabriel Osho, Calum Chambers, and others. Cardiff, still seeking their first Championship win, looks to enhance their squad ahead of the critical cup tie.
