Bartow football secures 28-6 homecoming victory over Haines City

Bartow improved to 2-1 on the season following a 28-6 home win against Haines City on Thursday night. The contest at Memorial Stadium began after a weather-related delay, with the hosts leading 7-6 at halftime. Senior quarterback Amire Hall accounted for multiple scores, including touchdown passes to Kenyon Helms and JoKobie Terry, along with a late rushing touchdown. Haines City scored its lone points on a short run from fullback Dayren Rosa. Bartow coach Grady Morrell credited his offensive and defensive lines for controlling the game in the second half. The team now prepares for an upcoming matchup against Auburndale, while Haines City is scheduled to face George Jenkins on September 11.
