Bay FC forward Racheal Kundananji returned to play recently following a period sidelined by injury and international commitments. Head coach Emma Coates featured the 26-year-old for 22 minutes against the Washington Spirit and 18 minutes in a subsequent match against the Kansas City Current. Despite the return, the team is managing her recovery carefully after she sustained a second hamstring injury this season. While the coaching staff remains pleased with her physical presence on the wing, expectations for higher scoring output remain unmet. Since joining the organization for a significant transfer fee, the forward has recorded 11 goals across 58 appearances. The team continues to integrate her back into the rotation while seeking a more consistent offensive threat in the NWSL.
