Bayer Leverkusen agrees to sign Guéla Doué from RC Strasbourg for 37.5 million

Bayer Leverkusen reached an agreement to sign defender Guéla Doué from RC Strasbourg for a fee of 37.5 million euros. The deal, which includes add-ons, concludes negotiations after the German club identified the 23-year-old as its primary target for the right-back position. Doué has approved the move and is traveling to Germany to complete a medical examination and finalize the transfer. He joins a Leverkusen side coached by Carles Martínez, where he is expected to compete for a starting role. The Ivorian international recorded two goals and seven assists in 34 appearances across all competitions last season.
