Bayer Leverkusen has reached a verbal agreement with Al-Ittihad to sign Moussa Diaby, according to Sky Germany and Kicker. The transfer, valued at around €30 million, includes a five-year contract for Diaby, who previously played for Leverkusen from 2019 to 2023 before stints with Aston Villa and Al-Ittihad. Diaby recorded nine goals and 21 assists in 56 appearances for the Saudi club. His return comes as Leverkusen continues to rebuild under new coach Carles Martínez Novell.
