Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeanuël Belocian nears loan move to Racing Santander
Summary

Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jeanuël Belocian is reportedly close to a loan transfer to Racing Santander for the 2026/27 season. The 21-year-old defender, who joined the German club from Stade Rennes for €15 million two years ago, seeks additional playing time following a stint with VfL Wolfsburg during the second half of last season. Belocian's tenure at Leverkusen has been hampered by a significant injury that sidelined him for much of the 2024/25 campaign. In total, the Frenchman has recorded 20 appearances for Die Werkself across all competitions. An agreement between the two clubs is nearing completion as the transfer window remains a focus for the Bundesliga side.
