Bayern Munich board member Max Eberl details interest in signing Bradley Barcola

Eberl noted that he first monitored the 24-year-old during his tenure as a sporting managing director at RB Leipzig. Following his transition to Bayern Munich, the German club evaluated a potential transfer for the Frenchman but ultimately deemed the financial requirements set by Paris Saint-Germain too high. Liverpool eventually secured the signing of Barcola for a reported fee of €125 million. Instead, Bayern Munich opted to acquire Luis Díaz from Liverpool in the summer of 2025 for a reported €70 million. The club expressed satisfaction with the addition of Luis Díaz, noting that the move represented a more manageable financial scale for the team.
