Bayern Munich prepares Allianz Arena for summer concert series

FC Bayern Munich has stripped the grass from the Allianz Arena in preparation for a series of summer concerts starting June 11. Major artists scheduled to perform include Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, The Weeknd, BTS, and Helene Fischer. While this serves the concert events, there are concerns about grass stability when the pitch is reinstalled. Once the concerts conclude, work will resume to install a new playing surface ahead of the next football season.
