Bayonne rallies to defeat Connecticut and reach Little League World Series

On August 14, Bayonne came back from a 4-0 deficit against Connecticut to secure an 8-6 victory in the Little League Metro Regional championship. Bayonne tied the game in the fifth inning before taking the lead with critical hits from Jett Bridges and Chase Klimkowski. This win marks the first time a team from Bayonne has advanced to the Little League World Series, where they will face Bridgewater, Mass. on August 19. The team remains undefeated this summer at 15-0 after sectionals, states, and regionals.
