Bear Bachmeier matches Brandon Doman's early BYU record at 14-2

Through 16 games at BYU, quarterback Bear Bachmeier has compiled a record of 14-2, matching the record of former Cougar QB Brandon Doman over the same span. Bachmeier, who is just a teenager, has thrown for 3,448 yards and 21 touchdowns while also rushing for 594 yards and 13 touchdowns. Doman commended Bachmeier's leadership and consistency, noting the strong partnership with running back LJ Martin, which has yielded significant offensive production. The Cougars recently defeated Arizona 28-17 and will face Colorado State next.
