Bears DB Cam Lewis leaves practice early with left leg injury

Chicago Bears defensive back Cam Lewis exited Saturday's practice after injuring his left leg while attempting to break up a pass. Lewis was observed favoring his ankle as he left the field and was transported back to the facilities on a cart. He had been starting in place of Coby Bryant, who is also sidelined due to injury. In Lewis's absence, undrafted rookie free agent Skyler Thomas is now running with the first-team defense. Another injury occurred during practice as wide receiver Luther Burden also left the field with a trainer.
