Bears left tackle competition remains open after preseason game

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Press Taylor addressed the ongoing competition for the starting left tackle position after a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. Following the game, the Bears activated left tackle Ozzy Trapilo from the physically unable to perform list. During the game, Kiran Amegadjie and Jedrick Wills split offensive snaps but neither emerged as a clear frontrunner for the role. Taylor noted that both players exhibited positive traits but highlighted that the competition is still very much alive with two more preseason games to go.
