"This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off with General Manager Adam Pearce informing us all that Stephanie Vaquer is still not medically cleared to compete. That, of course, threw a monkey wrench in the plan to book a new number one contender to the women’s world championship, considering Vaquer was supposed to wrestle Becky Lynch to determine Liv Morgan’s next challenger. Pearce, being a man of the people like he is, decided there was an easy fix to all this — just go ahead and let Lynch challenge for the title on this very night in Fresno! They gave them the proper treatment, putting them in the main event of the evening. Lynch got a video promo hyping the match, and it started to feel like they were planning on doing something special to close the evening. Then, after a fun back-and-forth, Lynch had Morgan in the Disarmher. That’s when Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez rushed out to help. It seemed, for a time, like Becky had managed to deal with the dastardly duo, with a flip dive to the outside and an electric counter for the Oblivion once she got back in the ring. But the ensuing count, one that felt like it would have been the end, was broken up by Rodriguez & Perez after all. The referee called for the bell. Morgan was disqualified. She lost the match but remains the champion. Lame. It was chaos from there, with Women’s Champion Chelsea Green rushing out to help, getting overwhelmed, and then Iyo Sky doing the same. Finally, Morgan found herself laid out in the ring and vulnerable. It’s Tiffy Time! Just kidding, she did the thing again. She had the perfect set up, took way too long to consider the situation, said she was cashing in, gave the briefcase to a referee, and then Dominik Mysterio grabbed Morgan and ran her out of there. No cash-in. No title change. Tiffy Time was just THAT CLOSE!! 🤏 Dirty Dom saves Liv before @tiffstrattonwwe could cash-in! pic.twitter.com/13pJLmmd8h — WWE (@WWE) October 27, 2026 This was a good show that ended terribly with all this nonsense.
