Becky Lynch's promo edited in Netflix replay of WWE Raw
Summary

During WWE Raw on August 3, 2026, Becky Lynch's promo targeting Liv Morgan was altered in Netflix's replay. The platform's ongoing edits for its PG-rated presentation removed Lynch's line about Morgan's standing as a champion and a reference to Dominik Mysterio. The editing of content has been a trend since WWE Raw began streaming on Netflix in January 2025, affecting various elements such as profanity and violent content. Fans expressed frustration over these changes, particularly regarding Lynch's remark which was deemed inappropriate for a family audience.

The edits, which have been for things like blood during matches and swearing (even lightly censored swearing), started with the very first episode on the streaming giant in January of last year. Honestly not sure who is watching Raw multiple times each week to catch these changes, but having been part of the “dreaded” internet wrestling community for a loooong time — I’m also honestly not surprised that people are doing just that. But I digress… Our latest example is from this week’s Raw, which streamed live on Mon., Aug. 3. It’s from the segment during which both Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch returned. In Lynch’s promo on WWE Women’s World champ Liv Morgan, she said: “You’re not even the greatest women’s champion in your own group [The Judgment Day, which also includes Women’s Intercontinental champion Raquel Rodriguez]. Hell, you’re not even the greatest women’s champion that’s slept with Dominik Mysterio!” While responses to the following post indicate the edits weren’t made overnight, as of Wednesday the replay of this week’s Raw do not include Becky’s reference to Dirty Dom’s kayfabe body count: NETFLIX LIVE: “You are not even the greatest women’s champion who slept with Dominik Mysterio.” NETFLIX REPLAY: Cuts the entire part. BRO WHAT ARE THEY EVEN DOING!? These censorships are RIDICULOUS. 😭 pic.twitter.com/LVmWzqDj6r — Ceaser Wrestling (@CeaserWrestles) August 6, 2026 Even for this The Man superfan, I don’t have a huge problem with this one. It was a cheap pop-kind of a line, and it took something that was officially subtext (Dominik’s on-screen relationships have pretty clearly involved sex, but it was never plainly stated this way… at least that I can recall). Maybe Dom’s wife didn’t want it on Netflix forever? I doubt it seeing as they’ve been together since grade school, meaning she likely understands the business better than most. But I’d also understand it if she did take issue with the line. But that’s just my take. I’m sure you have your own. So let’s here your thoughts on Netflix editing Raw in general, or this latest instance, in the comments below.
