Bellevue defense tallies four interceptions in shutout win against Clyde

Bellevue's defense made a strong impression in their home opener on August 21, recording four interceptions en route to a 42-0 victory over Clyde. Vincent Sberna initiated the turnovers by recovering a muffed punt in the first quarter. Konner Dauch, Justin Bucher, Maddex Bailey, and Ike Brown contributed additional interceptions. Bucher also returned a pick for a touchdown in the second quarter. Bellevue's scoring included a safety and rushing touchdowns from Evan Bova and Brown, among others. The game marked the beginning of the season and showcased Bellevue's defensive prowess.
