Ben Cabango banned from driving for using phone while driving

Swansea City captain Ben Cabango has been banned from driving for six months after admitting to using a mobile phone while driving a BMW in Swansea on January 9. The 26-year-old received six penalty points, resulting in the ban under the totting up procedure. Cabango will pay a total of £1,016, which includes a £640 fine, a £256 victim surcharge, and £120 in prosecution costs. He did not attend court, responding to the charge through the single justice procedure at Swansea Magistrates' Court.
