Ben Shelton leads Stefanos Tsitsipas at the US Open

American tennis player Ben Shelton holds a two-sets-to-nil advantage over Stefanos Tsitsipas during their fourth-round match at the US Open. Shelton entered the match following earlier victories against Denis Shapovalov, Hubert Hurkacz, and Tallon Griekspoor. Off the court, Shelton credited his partner, soccer player Trinity Rodman, for providing support throughout his 2026 season. Rodman has been a consistent presence at his matches, including at several smaller ATP events. Should Shelton complete the win against Tsitsipas, he is scheduled to play reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals. Shelton currently holds an 0-3 career head-to-head record against Alcaraz.
