Ben Simmons participates in Australia mini-camp to aid comeback

Summary

Ben Simmons is dedicated to returning to the NBA, participating in the Australia men's national team mini-camp in Melbourne. The camp begins tomorrow, and Simmons is reported to have 'zero restrictions' while hoping to showcase his improved health. Following a challenging period marked by injuries since the 2021 NBA playoffs, he drew interest from several NBA teams and received a training camp invitation from one franchise. Despite past withdrawals from international competition, this effort may position Simmons for future opportunities, including potential calls for the 2027 FIBA World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympics.
