Ben Sinnott criticizes former offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury system

Washington Commanders tight end Ben Sinnott recently expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s former offensive scheme directed by Kliff Kingsbury. In comments provided to Ben Standig, Sinnott described the new offense implemented by David Blough as a significant improvement for his position. The second-round pick noted that the previous system largely sidelined tight ends other than Zach Ertz. Under the current staff, Sinnott expects to operate in a more versatile, hybrid role that includes lining up as a fullback or H-back. Washington moved on from the previous coaching staff this offseason to install a more traditional NFL attack focused on play action and under-center formations. Sinnott must now prove his improved fit within the new scheme during the upcoming regular season.
