Ben Stokes rules out 2027 Ashes return, aspires to coach England

Ben Stokes has confirmed he will not return for the 2027 Ashes, following his retirement from Test cricket in June. In an interview on the Love of Cricket podcast, the former England captain expressed his intention to remain involved in the sport and pursue coaching. Stokes is currently working on his level three coaching qualification while still an active player. He indicated that he would love to coach England one day and was surprised that Harry Brook was not offered a coaching position.
