Berlin Brothersvalley holds off North Star in close contest

Berlin Brothersvalley secured a 17-14 victory against North Star in a tight Inter-County Conference South matchup on October 23. Corbin Kordell starred for Berlin with two interceptions and a crucial 42-yard reception. Both teams traded blows, but Berlin's running back Carter Durst's two touchdowns and a game-winning 34-yard field goal from Josh Brinton made the difference. Berlin was able to maintain control in the final quarter, running down the clock effectively, despite North Star's late push that included a touchdown pass from Kasey Yoder to Will Eshleman. This win places Berlin Brothersvalley in a strong position for the upcoming District 5-2A playoffs.
