Bianconere defeat Milan to finish perfect in Serie A Women's Cup group

The Bianconere concluded their Serie A Women’s Cup group stage on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Milan in Biella. Ana Capeta scored the match’s lone goal in the 78th minute, connecting on a counterattack initiated by substitute Danique Noordman. The hosts maintained a 100% record throughout the group phase despite early pressure from Milan, who saw several scoring attempts turned away by goalkeeper Larissa Rusek. The victory secures the team's position ahead of the upcoming Final Four, with the semi-final draw scheduled for Monday. Following the win, the team faces concerns over the health of Capeta, who departed the match late due to an injury sustained while protecting the lead.
