We learned just one week ago that the rumors are true and Big Cass will be making his return to WWE television on the Aug. 3 episode of Monday Night Raw, the big SummerSlam fallout episode in Des Moines. We know this because the company aired a vignette announcing as much with an interesting angle — that he was once a can’t miss prospect, something the entire world thought, but the entire world turned out to be wrong. He was going to be the man, even without his hype man tag team partner, but it all fell apart. As its stated in the narration within the video: “Even if you haven’t reached the top, you have no idea just how far you can fall.” It’s notable that once again the aforementioned hype man partner, Enzo Amore, was nowhere to be found in the promo.
