The conference initially planned for this transparency only during Friday night games. The decision aligns with a new NCAA directive regarding standardized timing protocols that require decisions to be based on embedded game clock data. Western Michigan and the MAC previously requested that the result be overturned, but the NCAA stated it lacks the authority to change game outcomes. Going forward, the enhanced replay process will apply to all Big Ten stadium games and home non-conference matchups officiated by Big Ten crews.
