Bijan Robinson targets Clinton Portis for yards from scrimmage record

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson needs 1,412 yards from scrimmage to surpass the record held by Clinton Portis for a player under 25 years old. Robinson enters the season with 5,648 career yards and must reach the milestone before his 25th birthday on January 30, 2027. Last season, he averaged 135 scrimmage yards per game, a pace that would allow him to reach the record by Week 11 of the 2026 season. Robinson recently signed a contract as the highest-paid running back in the NFL. Beyond the age-based record, he is also considered a candidate to challenge the single-season scrimmage yards record set by Chris Johnson in 2009. The Falcons are currently positioned at No. 26 in league power rankings.
