Bill Simmons names Indiana Pacers co-favorites in Eastern Conference
Summary

Bill Simmons of The Ringer has labeled the Indiana Pacers as co-favorites for the Eastern Conference as the NBA season approaches. He stated that the team, fueled by disappointment from last season's playoffs, is motivated to exceed expectations. Following a challenging year with injuries, including Tyrese Haliburton’s torn Achilles tendon in the 2025 Finals, Simmons believes the Pacers are poised for a strong comeback. Zach Lowe supports Simmons' assessment, noting that if the Pacers can regain their rhythm, they will be a formidable playoff contender.
