Billy Yang takes interim role as Green Bay East boys basketball coach

Green Bay East has appointed alum Billy Yang as the interim boys basketball coach effective this season, replacing James DeVault, who stepped down earlier this month. Yang, a 2007 graduate, is familiar with the team, having worked with local youth athletes through Rise Up Athletics. The Red Devils faced a challenging prior season, finishing with a 5-19 record and losing top scorers to graduation. Yang is expected to prioritize athletes' development off the court alongside their performance. The team’s season opener is scheduled for December 1 against Green Bay Preble, with a Bay Conference game against Menasha on December 8.
