Birmingham City has transferred forward Kyogo Furuhashi to LA Galaxy for an undisclosed fee. The 31-year-old Japan international joined Birmingham from Rennes last summer, signing a three-year contract. During the 2025-26 season, Furuhashi made 31 appearances, contributing three goals. Prior to his time at Birmingham, he scored 85 goals in 165 matches for Celtic from 2021 to 2025, including a standout season in which he led the Scottish Premiership with 27 goals in 2022-23. The transfer opens up further opportunities for both clubs in their upcoming campaigns.
