Birmingham City has signed USA left-back Kristoffer Lund from Palermo on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Lund, 24, previously played 33 matches in the Bundesliga last season with FC Cologne after having joined Palermo three years ago. This marks Birmingham's fifth signing ahead of the 2026-27 season, joining new players including striker Luis Vazquez and defender Dael Fry. Lund has seven caps for the USA but was not part of their World Cup squad.
