Bishop Moore and Winter Springs join Jones in new Class 4A football district

Bishop Moore and Winter Springs have been placed in the newly restructured Class 4A for the next two seasons, where they will compete alongside the established Jones program. This shift follows the FHSAA's reform of football districts, which introduced the Open 8 Division and reduced classifications to six. Winter Springs will open its season against Lake Howell and will face Bishop Moore on October 9, marking their first matchup. Jones, having been a runner-up in the past two seasons, is adapting to a roster change as they replace key players, including quarterback Dereon Coleman.
