Darren Till survived an early scare in his bare-knuckle debut and then delivered a devastating one-punch knockout to finish Aaron Chalmers in the BKFC 90 co-main event. In a sport known for having a lot of frantic movement, Till had to settle down after Chalmers clipped him with a solid left hand early that put the veteran UFC fighter down on one knee. But Till was undeterred and came out ready to fight at the start of round two. That’s when Till uncorked a hellacious left hand of his own that absolutely blasted Chalmers and he slumped down to the canvas as the referee started his 10 count. Chalmers was obviously hurt badly by the punch and it was clear he wasn’t getting up again with the referee calling a stop to the contest just 22 seconds into the second round. “I was f*cking made for this shit,” Till shouted after his win. “I’m built for it. I was like I can’t let this little c*nt get this on me. That first round was his and now start letting my hands go. “[I want to fight] f*cking everyone! I don’t care. I’m not scared of anyone!” Till balked at signing with BKFC for a few years but he eventually received an offer he couldn’t refuse and now he’s made quite an impact in his debut. Before he landed the knockout shot, Till did deal with some adversity from Chalmers, who held a 2-0 record in BKFC prior to Saturday’s fight. A lot of early movement from Chalmers opened the fight with Till showing patience and stabbing back at him with a well-timed jab. But a moment later, Chalmers clipped Till with a stiff left hook that dropped the ex-UFC title challenger to the knee as he was given a mandatory standing eight count for the knockdown. In the second round, Till got payback as soon as the action got started. With Chalmers ducking and dodging, Till loaded up on his left hand and he uncorked a perfectly timed shot that landed clean. As soon as Chalmers fell to the canvas, it was pretty clear he wasn’t getting back up again but the referee still gave him every opportunity to return to his feet. That didn’t happen and the fight was stopped as Till celebrated his first win and first knockout in BKFC. Already a star from his years spent in the UFC and then transitioning to boxing, Till looks like he’s found a new fighting home in BKFC, especially if he can set up an eventual showdown against Mike Perry after they’ve engaged in a heated rivalry for years.

(Photo by Ben Roberts Photo/Getty Images) | Getty Images This is the live blog for Darren Till vs. Aaron Chalmers, the co-main event fight at BKFC 90 at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, on Saturday afternoon. A former UFC welterweight title challenger, Till has been on a combat sports sojourn since leaving the UFC in 2022. “The Gorilla” took some time off before taking his talents to boxing, competing in exhibition bouts and influencer bouts before making his professional debut against Luke Rockhold last year. Despite going 4-0 in boxing, Till has now decided to leave the sweet science behind and try his hand at bare-knuckle, signing with BKFC in April and making his debut this weekend. A reality TV star, Chalmers has parlayed his fame into a solid combat sports career. Chalmers sports a 5-2 record in MMA under the BAMMA and Bellator banners, and has nearly as many boxing matches under his belt, including an exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2023. Most recently, Chalmers has been competing in BKFC, going 2-0 in the promotion in 2025. He looks to make it three wins in a row against his toughest opponent to date.
