Blackburn Rovers have officially signed Sam Morsy on a one-year contract as a free agent. The 34-year-old midfielder, who previously captained Ipswich Town, joins after a stint at Kuwait SC. Morsy departed Ipswich in May 2025, having played a critical role in their recent success and promotion to the Premier League. With this signing, Blackburn has now added three players to their roster this summer, following Moussa Baradji and Jayden Fevrier.
