Blackhawks prepare for second round of 2026 NHL Draft with key picks

The Chicago Blackhawks did not select in the first round of the 2026 NHL Draft, marking a first in the Kyle Davidson era. They traded away their 4th overall pick to the Buffalo Sabres for Bowen Byram. The Blackhawks hold second-round picks 34 and 37, scheduled to take place today at 10 AM CT.
